Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Applebee's serves a variety of food including steaks, salads, and sandwiches and is located in Wooster's north end at 3989 Burbank Rd. and offer call ahead seating, (330)345-8900.

The Barn Restaurant

Enjoy the casual atmosphere of dining of a refurbished country barn while enjoying a hearty "farmhand" meal. You can order from the menu or dine "family style". It is located at 877 W. Main St. in Smithville (State Rt. 585 north), (330)669-2555 (no reservations excepted).

Bob Evans Restaurant

Offering a typical country dining experience with a variety food, Bob Evan's has two locations in Wooster, one in the south end at 550 Robinson (off of State Rt. 83), (330)263-4045 and another in the north end at 3660 Burbank Rd., (330)345-8752.

Buehler's Towne Market Cafe

The Towne Market Cafe offers soups, salads, sandwiches and meals including steak, chicken, and fish. It is located adjacent to the downtown grocery store at 334 N. Market St., (330)264-6797.

Coccia House Pizza

They offer not only pizza but also pasta, steaks, and burgers. They also provide carry-out at 764 Pittsburgh Rd., (330)262-7136.

Country Acres Restaurant

Country Kitchen Restaurant

Des Dutch Essenhaus

Looking for an authentic Amish-style meal, then this is the place to be. They are located just south of Wooster in Shreve (State Rt. 3 South to State Rt. 224 South) at 176 N. Market St., (330)567-2212.

El Canelo Mexican Restaurant

Just about the only place in Wooster to get authentic Mexican food. Located in the north end at 4782 Cleveland Rd., (330)345-7005.

El Rancho Grande

"The Ranch" offers an Italian and American menu and has a good reputation for its pizza. They also offer carry-out and reservations at 4586 Lincoln Way E., (330)264-6625.

Farmer Boy Restaurant

Green Leaf Restaurant & Drive In

Green Leaf offers a typical family menu as well as an old-time drive-in service. They also have banquet facilities and are located at 2905 Cleveland Rd., (330)345-6797.

Hawkins Cafeteria

Hawkin's provides a straight-forward cafeteria service next to their Portage Square Plaza grocery store on Portage Rd., (330)264-8908.

Kaffee Haus

This place isn't just for coffee. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a typical family menu. They are located at 2730 Cleveland Rd.

King Garden

This restaurant offers a good Chinese cuisine buffet as well as a menu and take-out. It is located at 2241 Benden Dr., (330)262-7373

Longhorn Steakhouse

Matsos' Family Restaurant & Pizza

Enough can't be said about the food at Matsos. They offer a fine Greek and American menu as well as Spiro's famous Greek pizza. The decor of the restaurant is a tribute to Wooster's summer light opera company the Ohio Light Opera and contains many photographs of the company's productions as well as a stained glass window recognizing the company's Artistic Director Emeritus, Dr. James Stuart. The Olde Jaol Brewing Company

The Olde Jaol offers a nice dining experience in, what else, the old Wooster jail. It is located at 155 W. North St. (corner of North and Buckeye), (330)262-3333.

The Parlor Restaurant

This is one of the downtown places to be for breakfast or lunch. They even offer a walk-up window at 203 W. Liberty St. (corner of Liberty and Buckeye), (330)262-4971.

Pizza Hut

Red Lobster Restaurant

They offer their typical seafood and steak in Wooster's north end at 3805 Burbank Rd., (330)345-4005.

Ryan's Family Steak House

Best known for their "Super Bar" which is a meal in itself. They are also in Wooster's north end at 3743 Burbank Rd., (330)345-2500.

The Smithville Inn is known in the area for its good pan fried chicken. It is located just northeast of Wooster in Smithville (State Rt. 585 north) at 109 W. Main St., (330)669-2641.

Sue Min's Chinese Gourmet

It may not be fancy but this is one of the locals' favorite Chinese restaurants in town. It's located across from OSU/ATI and OARDC at 1535 Madison Ave. (State Rt. 83 south), (330)262-5552.

Terrace Restaurant

Located in the Best Western Wooster Plaza, 243 E. Liberty St., (330)264-7750.

TJ's Restaurant

One of the fine dining experiences in Wooster where one can enjoy prime rib, seafood, steak, and cocktails. It is located at 359 W. Liberty St., (330)264-6263.
